Kevin Klein has emerged as one of Lake Tahoe’s most gifted photographers. For close to 20 years Kevin has framed pieces of the Tahoe/Truckee area into works of art with his well balanced eye. To his credit, he recently took first place in the “Human Power” category (one of the three) in the 3000 Words competition and benefit among 8 of Tahoe’s best and most accredited photographers.
What comes out most in Kevin’s work is his relationship with the natural world and the ways in which we play among the mountains. Kevin worked as a rafting guide in Utah, Colorado and California for many summer seasons and took to the mountains around Tahoe and Truckee for the winter seasons, climbing and traveling in between. Finally settling in Truckee year round in 1999 he decided to make a business out of his love of photographing his adventures and travels. Skiing and snowboarding are his favorite winter subjects to shoot. Spring and summer brings out the landscape photographer in him as well as the portrait and wedding photographer.
Now residing in Tahoe City, Kevin has amassed a large stock of images for sale as editorial, commercial, and fine art. He continues to create stunning images of the mountains he loves and calls home.
